Road map for projects at PNI

1 First contact and consultation
Discuss the scientific question, suitable imaging modality, tracer needs, animal model, timeline and feasibility.

2 Project initiation
Submit the project initiation form and define responsibilities, user category, funding status and requirements.

3 Experimental setup
Finalize protocols, arrange tracer production or delivery, prepare samples or disease models and confirm animal licences where required.

4 Data acquisition
Perform autoradiography, cryostat sectioning, scintillation counting, biodistribution studies or in vivo PET/SPECT/CT.

5 Analysis, reporting and storage
Analyze data collaboratively using tools such as PMOD and ImageQuant™ TL. Data storage is coordinated through xxx.

Before contacting PNI, users should ideally consider: the biological question, intended target or tracer, tissue or animal model availability, funding status, timeline and whether an animal licence may be required.

A collaborative core facility model
