Preclinical Nuclear Imaging (PNI) Center
The Preclinical Nuclear Imaging (PNI) Center is a joint platform of Inselspital Bern and the University of Bern, providing state-of-the-art infrastructure for ex vivo binding evaluation, target engagement, biodistribution, and in vivo imaging in mice and rats.
PNI integrates small-animal PET/SPECT/CT, autoradiography, cryostat-based tissue workflows, liquid scintillation counting, animal support infrastructure, and collaborative nuclear medicine imaging data analysis for Insel / UNIBE users, external academic partners, and industrial collaborators.
